I was running on the Al Foster trail and suddenly became breathless prompting me to stop for a moment. Abruptly I stopped and turned my head to the left as my attention was drawn that way. Taking a breath I looked forward and before I could take a step I saw a copperhead slither across the trail right where I would have landed with my foot, had I been running. For me this was a vivid example of God keeping me from danger. I had no idea the snake would be crossing at that time and it was too precise to be a coincidence. This isn’t the first time I’ve seen God blatantly working in my life. As a matter of fact if I sift through the events of each day there is always a lesson that he teaches me. These things happen every day, all the time, but the only way I am aware of them is by seeking God and looking for evidence of him in my life. When I seek, he makes himself known to me. Really it’s all in how you look at it, for me I remove words like coincidence and luck replacing them with trust and faith.
